iPhone 6
The iPhone 6 is awesome, we can all agree that it is definitely better that the previous version (who cares it looks like an Samsung, there is a REASON why they ‘copy,’ because it is ultimately better, and anyway, Samsung copied so much too because the design was just tooo entuitive). However, there is one thing that really bugs me.
Back then, the memory was either 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB. 8 to 16 were usually too small for average users, so they would choose to 32. That’s why when I bought my iPad, I bought it as a 32GB iPad an are law.
But now Apple starts with 16 GB of storage, but the next tier is 64 GB. I want to get the cheaper phone because I do not have all the money in the world, however 16 GB is a bit too small for a phone, and so if I were to buy it, I would have to get the 64 GB version, which is as you know a hundred dollars more expensive.
Apple definitely did this for their advantage, since if there was a 32 GB model as the starting tier, I wouldn’t even bother to buy the 64 GB because I know 32 GB is enough for everyday needs.
But please Apple, don’t become a company that try to steal as much money as they can from their consumers, even if it is to appease shareholders… It’s the innovation you bring that matters, not the profit.
